ai automation engineer (growth)
We're looking for an AI Automation Engineer to join Darwin AI and help us turn our day-to-day operations into a system of intelligent, self-running workflows. You'll sit on the Data & AI team, reporting to our Head of Data and AI, but for your first ~4 months you'll be embedded with the Growth & Marketing team, automating the processes that move the business forward.
If you get excited by the idea of replacing repetitive work with smart agents — and you have the curiosity to learn a process deeply before automating it — this is for you.
You'll be the person who looks at a process — paid ads analysis, ad creation, social media content, reporting, data pipelines, internal ops — and says: "this should run by itself." Then you go build that.
Concretely, in your first months you'll be working closely with the Growth & Marketing team to:
- Understand and document marketing processes end-to-end (paid ads analysis, creative production, social media content generation, reporting, lead routing, attribution).
- Automate them using a combination of Claude Code, Claude Cowork, and AI agents connected to our stack.
- Build the data plumbing — connections between Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, Linear, Slack, Google Calendar, Figma, Canva, and whatever else the workflow needs.
- Ship small, useful tools and dashboards that the Growth team actually uses every day — not slide-deck demos.
- Hand off mature automations with good documentation, so the team can run and tweak them without you.
After the initial Growth focus, you'll expand into automating other business processes across the company (sales, ops, finance, people) under the Data & AI team's roadmap.
This role is open to Junior and Semi-Senior profiles. We care much more about how you think and what you've built than about the years of experience. You will work with Claude (Code, Cowork, API), MCP servers, local agents, Python, Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, Linear, Slack, Google Calendar, Google Workspace, Figma, Canva — and whatever else makes sense for the next problem.
